Right now, it is quite common for an event management company involved with digital clients to adopt a hologram TV approach. Though, most event companies have not considered the ongoing and rising costs of hologram TV as compared to 3D TVs without glasses carrying a slimmer price tag.
Even as hologram TVs flourish at events, the popular online mag Livescience picked up on echoes speaking of a different direction coming for corporate events.
Large and affordable holographic video displays may soon be possible, which could spur the development of glasses-free 3D TVs, researchers say.

The materials required to produce the holo images are very expensive. Scientists are working on a cheaper chemical alternative but the costs of the devices required to run it can still go up considerably. Live Science went on to explain:
Acousto-optic modulation, could create a display that alters the way it scatters light over time, potentially generating holographic videos. However, an early prototype using this method relied on crystals of an expensive transparent material called tellurium dioxide, and could not generate images with a suitable resolution for TVs.
With time required to present the devices able to capture and project the images not to mention the costs, this early adopter technology could give way to other 3D avenues. 3D TVs without glasses are already here and the stereoscopic technology does not require further research or costs to keep going. It is likely that despite the failings of 3D TV in the consumer market, it will make a comeback. Once business trusts the technology, the next step is content and that is when both corporate events and the home can get interested enough. Brands like Techno Snowball are already presenting 4K Ultra HD sets with 3D views but just far too costly for the everyday family household. Though they are ready for business presentations supported by large budgets.
This is why Techno Snowball approaches event management companies with the technology as it already serves business at trade shows and is far less costly than a Hologram equivalent or a 3D wall.
